Six reasons to read Vogue

Six of Korea's famous female artistes - Choi Ji Woo, Kim Ok Bin, Lee Mi Sook, Kim Min Hee, Yoon Yeo Jung and Ko Hyun Jung, gathered together for a pictorial for the latest Korean Vogue magazine. Each of the actresses oozes different types of charm in their own style. Now, this is what I call art in a fashion magazine.

Son Dambi's performance

Koreans are a lucky bunch. When Manchester United took on Seoul FC on 24 July, they had Son Dambi and Girls Generation (SNSD) taking to the stage to rouse the crowd. The lucky blokes in the stadium got to see both their footballing heroes as well as the super-sexy singers. Son Dambi along deserves a 'red card' for the hot number she did at the match.

Over here in Singapore, Liverpool FC will be taking on the Singapore national team in a few minutes time. Doubt there would be any local stars performing for the fans here.

I might be wrong. But it seems as if the who's who in Boys Over Flowers are the hottest property in the advertising world. While Goo Hye Sun takes on Taiwan as the covergirl girl of Vogue magazine, Lee Ming Jung is strutting her stuff as the model for Tommy Hilfiger's jeans.

Shin Min Ah in Jinro's Ad

Alcohol has always been paired with beautiful women. So who does Jinro, Korea's most famous soju brand, turns to when they want to advertise their drinks? Well, none other than Shin Min Ah. This beauty looks both sexy and sophisticated in the Jinro posters below. Makes you just want to grab a bottle now eh.

Rain's Ninja Assassin

Rain stars as Raizo a deadly assassin seeking revenge for his friend who was executed by his clan. The movie - Ninja Assassin - will take viewers through various cities in Europe as Raizo engages a game of "cat-and-mouse" with his former clan. If you want to see Rain doing somersaults as he engages multiple opponents and get into bloody fights, this movie is definitely for you.
