New banner
Tell us what you think of the new banner. It has been some time since I last worked on Photoshop to create new fan art. But I thought the stars from Boys Over Flowers, being the eye candy that they are, made great subjects as the main theme of the banner.

YEH sans make-up
It has been so long since I last caught up with the developments in Korean entertainment. So, I am pleasantly surprised when I saw a recent article on Yoon Eun Hye's personal posting of some shots taken of herself, without make-up, at her home. Don't you think her complexion is really great?
It has been sometime since I watched a drama with familiar faces. I am just relieved that YEH will be making a comeback on KBS2's Lady Castle. Finally, something to look forward to. :)

Long Hiatus
Took another 'forced' break from blogging for the last few months as real life once again demanded our full attention to several personal and professional issues. Well, that's the challenge we face at HelloHallyu since we aren't maintaining this site full-time, although that would a really neat thing to do.
During this period, your writers at HelloHallyu actually sojourned to Korea for a short tour!
Without further ado, here are some snapshots of the stuff I saw in Korea!

Cut-outs of Bae Yong Jun & Choi Ji Woo at the Yongpyong Ski Resort - Film-site of Winter Sonata.

A great view of the ski slope. Yup, here's the location where so many of the Winter Sonata scenes were filmed. Pity there's no snow in May!

Ain't Yongpyong Ski Resort a beautiful place even during the off-season?

Teddy bears from the Princess Hours drama. Photo taken at the Teddy Bear Museum at Jeju.

Korea's hottest shopping district. I am sure lots of dramas/movies were filmed here!

Last but not least a photo of my handiwork. Handmade kimchi anyone?
